Mother's Day 2020

Genesis 3:20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother all the living.

Genesis 3:19 You will … return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.

#1 Eve is the mother of all the physically living. (Genesis 1:28; Genesis 3:16)

Genesis 1:28: God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it…”

Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.

Genesis 3:16 I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing.

#2 Eve is the mother of all the spiritually living (Genesis 3:15a)

Genesis 3:15: And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers...

John 8:44 He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

#3 Eve is the mother of Christ the Savior. (Genesis 3:15b)
